The Science
How It Works
01
Barrier Ceramide Infusion
Triqua Max Cream delivers a concentrated multi-ceramide complex that integrates with the skin's own lipid matrix — rapidly restoring barrier integrity and stopping moisture loss.
02
Dimethicone Occlusive Layer
A lightweight silicone forms a breathable protective film over the skin surface, sealing in actives and moisture without blocking pores.
03
72-Hour Pentavitin Hydration
Pentavitin® binds to skin keratin proteins and provides sustained autonomous hydration for up to 72 hours — a clinical claim verified in independent studies.
04
Oat Beta-Glucan Anti-Irritation
Colloidal oat beta-glucan immediately calms itch and irritation — ideal as a post-treatment moisturiser after retinol, actives, or procedures.
Application
How To Use
1
Cleanse
Apply to clean, dry face and/or body as needed.
2
Apply
Take a small amount (pea-sized for face, more for body areas) and warm between fingertips.
3
Wait & Absorb
Smooth gently across the skin in upward, outward motions. Can be applied around the eye area.
4
Follow Up
Use AM and/or PM. Particularly effective as a final PM step after serums. Apply before sunscreen in the AM.
Formula
Key Ingredients
Ceramides (Multi-Ceramide Complex)
A blend of Ceramide NP, AP, and EOP that replicates the skin's natural lipid barrier — more effective than single-ceramide formulations at restoring barrier function.
Dimethicone
Creates a smooth, invisible occlusive layer that prevents transepidermal water loss while maintaining a non-greasy, breathable finish.
Pentavitin® (Saccharide Isomerate)
Clinically validated skin-calming active that reduces itch, redness, and irritation — ideal for reactive, post-procedure, or eczema-prone skin.
Oat Beta-Glucan
Clinically validated skin-calming active that reduces itch, redness, and irritation — ideal for reactive, post-procedure, or eczema-prone skin.
Expert Endorsement
""Triqua Max Cream is the moisturiser I recommend most often for post-procedure recovery and for patients on active retinol or AHA regimens. The ceramide-dimethicone-Pentavitin combination is the benchmark for modern barrier repair.""
